Hi there!
It’s me - Julia Lee - living with my family on the north shore of Kauai and photographing life on the.dailee! I am a recent mainland transplant, packing up my family in Napa Valley to chase the dream of living the island life. Ever since my first visit here with my husband a few years ago, I've felt the magic that Kauai radiates, and I look forward to meeting you all so we can capture this enchanting garden isle together!
A little history
My passion for photography began while living in New York City during college - where I earned my B.S. in Biology. Between organic chemistry labs and study abroad ecology courses, I was able to fit in two semesters of photography, learning the fundamentals, and spending countless hours in the dark room. I quickly knew it was something I couldn't live without. I worked in the biotech and healthcare industries for 7 years following college, and decided to leave the workplace to stay home with my children, with photography as my hobby while I traveled the world and captured my family and friends' milestones.
My why
My passion to share my love for the art with local families and drive to help small businesses navigate a highly visual world led me to launch my photography business in October 2019.
